Reno Open Studios grew out of Artouring, an organization that had existed for about 10 years and had been named one of the top art events by the Reno Gazette Journal.

Reno Open Studios in their annual gallery crawl September 11, 12, 13, 2020 invites you to meet and talk with the artists, see their work, and learn about their creative process and techniques with most artists in one central location. The categories to see are varied and include bronze sculpture, photography, printmaking, painting, ceramics, jewelry, gourd art, art glass, and more. Reno Open Studios exists to bring the public and the artists of Northern Nevada together to engage, educate and inspire one another. Original art can be purchased directly from the artist.

Events and Information
September 11, 12,13, Reno Open Studios will host its annual gallery crawl at Summit Mall. The address is 13925 South Virginia Street, Suite #122, Reno, NV 89511. Reno Open Studios will have all but three artists in one location at the old Dress Barn. This location allows our artists to demonstrate the creation of their art work and sell it to customers. This location will allow Reno Open Studios to have consistent COVID safe standards applied uniformly to all participating artists. If malls are open, Reno Open Studios will be open. Please check back prior to September 11 to see if changes have been implemented by Nevada or Washoe County.

Each artist will be raffling a piece of their art.
Reno Open Studios's fund raising is applied to scholarships for art students at UNR. Some of those students my participate in our annual event this year (if UNR is open). The majority of this funding is raised when each artist raffles a piece of their original art at Reno Open Studios annual Gallery Crawl. Tickets will be available for purchase at each artists booth.
