Encounter Church is a non-denominational, Christian church in Amarillo, TX. It is our desire to provide an atmosphere where you can encounter God through worship and His Word. We offer many small group studies, infant, children, and youth programs, family activities, marriage and family counseling services, conferences, summer camps, vacation bible school, and other special events throughout the year. Planting yourself in a local church is one of the best decisions you could ever make. Just like every sports team needs a home-court advantage, every individual needs a community of believers cheering them on. Events and Information
Latest Outreach
We have the Mission Amarillo Shoe Drive taking place now. Pick up a form or two with a shoe size to help serve the kids in Amarillo. Forms can be picked up in the church foyer. Mission Amarillo requests athletic-type shoes only that tie or has velcro.
The Mission Amarillo shoe closet serves the 5 school districts in the Amarillo-Canyon area. Shoe closet distributes new or practically new athletic-type shoes to people of ages at all 5 school districts, as well as agencies, and ministries in the Amarillo-Canyon area. All shoes need to be returned back to Encounter Church, on December 4th.
