Upper Great Lakes Houghton Family Health Center

Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) provides the full complement of comprehensive primary health care services across the lifecycles. Services at our Houghton Family Health Center (on site and through referral) include behavioral health, substance use counseling/services, medication assisted treatment, care management, enabling services, education, and comprehensive outreach.

UGL also uses technology such as text messages, phone calls, patient portal, and social media to get and stay connected with patients. Appointments may be scheduled to connect with a provider by telephone or by virtual telehealth using the HEALOW app on a smart phone or tablet. The HEALOW app and patient portal allows patients to put their health in their hands and manage what’s important – their health and the health of their family!
