The Southern Needle offers yarns and supplies that are not usually found in the big box stores. Bamboo, silk, linen and other fine fibers used in the yarns. Lessons in knitting and crocheting or pin loom weaving. Group connections on Tuesday and Thursdays. Group projects such as Knit-a-longs happen during the year. Seasonal projects are always great fun! Today's project will become tomorrow's heirloom. We also offer a repair service, where hand stitched items in need of repair are evaluated and a repair plan would be worked out. Come see us! Events and Information
Local Yarn Shop Day is a Saturday in April where all brick and mortar yarn shops are highlighted throughout the country. Special events, patterns and activities are the highlight of the day. This year it is moved to September. Watch for more infor as the summer moves along
