North Texas Medical Center

North Texas Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Gainesville, Texas. The 125,000-square-foot medical center houses 42 medical/surgical beds, a 6-bed intensive care unit, and a 12-bed women’s center. Our facility also has a 15-bed outpatient surgery center, an expanded surgical department, a vascular lab, and a greatly expanded emergency department. In addition, the COVID-19 county testing site is currently located here.

NTMC offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, and is now offering telemedicine. You can talk to the doctor and have your appointment from the comfort of your home! All you need is a cell phone, tablet or desktop computer with video capability and a microphone to visit with your doctor about a follow-up appointment, refill a medication, weight management, allergies, lab follow-up, cough, fever, or shortness of breath.
