Michikusa Japanese Restaurant

We are a small Japanese restaurant that offers cold beers, fresh sushi, and warm ramen. We have a long list of small plates that pair well with our sakes, and the comforting atmosphere gives our customers the feeling of an authentic Japanese Izakaya. Our business only has six employees total, including our owner and sushi chef, Hiroshi Aoyagi. Hiroshi is an esteemed sushi chef who trained in Tokyo for seven years, and has been serving in America for 36 years. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his food, so everything is presented to our customers with particular technique and care. With Michikusa being such a small restaurant, we have the opportunity to really talk with, and get to know our customers. During this pandemic, we have opened to sell traditional bento lunches Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30-2:00, and we do bento, dinner, and sushi takeout from 5:00-9:00pm on those nights. While we cannot do everything on our regular menu at this time, we are doing our best to keep our customers happy and safe with proper social distancing and health-conscious staff.
