Curious Collections was established in 2016. The store started off as a collectible and antique store and over the last few years has evolved into a genuine record store. I am a single mother who started the store with about 8,000 of my dad’s records and collectibles after he died in a car accident in 2018. Since then, I have established my store as an authorized Record Store Day distributor and have participated in the world wide yearly event Record Store Day, for the last 2 years. Curious Collections is the only store within nearly 100 miles of Bryan that participates in this event.
Our store sells old and new vinyl records and turntables and offers several services to our customers including turntable repair. Curious Collections is a member of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce and has a A+ rating with the BBB.
Since I started Curious Collections, I have employed college age workers and have always supported the local Bryan/College Station economy. My record store provides a first opportunity work experience to many college students while training them and encouraging leadership, advanced responsibilities and establishing a work history in a workplace environment.
